Showcase Actors

Producer

Meegan McCauley

Originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, Meegan has been acting since the tender age of 5 when she was cast as Rainbow Brite in a school play. The acting bug officially bit her after she saw the film, A League Of Their Own. Throughout her young adult years, Meegan took on a breadth of roles from sketch comedy to Shakespeare to playing Rizzo in Grease. In high school, she began to direct and won an Outstanding Young Director award in her community. In college, Meegan took a bit of a breather from the theatre world only to return with gusto as Romaine in The Laramie Project. Since beginning the pursuit of her film career, she has appeared on the television shows, Bones and Boston Legal. In addition to being an actor, she is now taking on other aspects of the industry with a screenplay in the works along with this showcase production.

Director

Nathanael Johnson

Nathanael received his Master’s in Acting from the Yale School of Drama and since graduating, he has appeared on several television shows including The O.C., Veronica Mars, Numb3rs, and Medium. This summer, he can be seen as a series regular in the highly anticipated web-series, Will and The Ruins, produced by Anne-Marie McKay. He has likewise performed at regional theatres across the nation – most notably the Yale Repertory Theatre, Marin Theatre Company and South Coast Repertory. He has taught acting for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival as well as the Pacific  Center of the Performing Arts and is slated to conduct a Classical Theatre Intensive for Irene Ryan semi-finalists at the 2011 ACTF conference. Following that, he will direct a production of The Tempest at Lamar University. At Yale, he was the recipient of the Constance Welsh Memorial Scholarship and the Oliver Thorndike Award for Excellence in Acting and received his BFA (summa cum laude) from the University of Evansville. He is a member of the Yale Alumni Schools Committee, Lab Twenty6, Screen Actors Guild and Actors’ Equity Association and is an avid mountaineer and yogi.
