Ariane Alten

Ariane Alten

Ariane Alten grew up in Syracuse, New York. She was introduced to the stage at a young age, acting in plays at the Salt City Playhouse and performing in the Syracuse Children's Choir throughout her childhood. She went on to major in visual and performing arts at Syracuse University, where she not only appeared in the required school productions, but participated in original and experimental works written and directed by fellow students. After college, Ariane took a detour to the corporate world, where obligation and practicality took precedence. Finally unable to tolerate the 9-5 monotony any longer, her passion for the arts was reignited and in the spring of 2010, she relocated to Los Angeles. She is now back on track, auditioning, taking classes, booking short films, and pursuing and living her dream.

Bryan King

Bryan King

Bryan has been studying at The Acting Corps since this past September.  He recently finished starring in All in the Pudding, his first film.  Raised on the East coast he attended The University of Maryland and studied Business Administration.  His passions include acting, athletics, chess, and acoustic guitar.

Clark Mcknight

Clark Mcknight

Described as a cross between Matthew McConaughey and Owen Wilson, Clark McKnight is from Texas as well, but please don't hold that against him. After studying in New York City for three years, he decided it's now or never and made his way to Los Angeles. He was drawn to The Actors Corps because of the concentrated approach and complete immersion towards acting. Believing the old adage, “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear,” it was EVERY teacher here at The Actors Corps that motivated and inspired him which has led him to this showcase. Clark would like to thank his family (both logical and biological) for their love and support and for letting him live out his dream. And by the way if Clark was ever trapped on a deserted island and could only have three movies to watch over and over, they'd be: Road House, Point Break and Wedding Crashers.

Elise Conway

Elise Conway

Elise Conway dreamt of becoming an actor from a very young age and has moved from Australia to the US to see this dream become a reality. Since graduating with an Advanced Diploma in Stage and Screen Acting from the Australian College of Theatre and Television (ACTT), she has broadened her skills and experience by studying at the Acting Corps in the US. She is an accomplished theatre actor with a penchant for screen acting. Her work includes everything from Shakespeare’s leading ladies to guest roles in the Tropfest Short Film Festival. She is particularly proud of her portrayal of Cynthia, a character based on Marianne Faithful in Louis Nowra’s “The Jungle”. She has a particular love and skill of darker comedic roles, and in her spare time will be found watching Six Feet Under, Dexter and The Office.

Meegan Mccauley

Meegan Mccauley

Originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, Meegan has been acting since the tender age of 5. In high school, she had the privilege of visiting and studying with The Globe Theatre in London, England, which she considers one of the best experiences of her life. In time, she began to write and direct, touring a children's play with a troupe of fellow thespians to at-risk youth in the community. In college, Meegan took a bit of a breather from the theatre world only to return with gusto as Romaine in The Laramie Project. Her L.A. theatre debut was in Layon Gray's Diary of a Catholic School Dropout and since beginning pursuit of her film career, she has completed three independent films, one of which is part of a feature. In addition to acting, she is an avid horsewoman and competitive showjumper and enjoys writing, hiking, and traveling.

Nate Stender

Nate Stender

Nate Stender was born on November 11, 1983 in San Diego, CA. Nate went to Holy Cross College in Mass to play baseball and join the Navy ROTC program. Nate found his love for acting in his first acting class at HC, but following graduating with a B.S. in History, Nate was obligated to serve in the Navy. Nate served as an engineering officer and ship driver and spent his first cruise boarding vessels off the coast of Somalia searching for drugs and other illicit activities. Nate began tapping into his creativity during his deployment with a regular navy-centric Weekend Update-esque news show. Following his cruise, Nate got on the wrong bus and ended up serving in Afghanistan in 2009 primarily as a contracting officer. In 2010, Nate Stender left the Navy and moved to LA to pursue a career in acting in the summer of 2010 at the Acting Corps. Nate can be found routinely at karaoke bars crooning Neil Diamond songs and is dedicated to perfecting his craft as an actor and writer.

Ray Thomas

Ray Thomas

In the third grade, Ray began writing and performing in sketches to entertain his classmates at recess.  He continued his love of writing and performing during many years traveling the country as a standup comic.  As a comic he was a staple on cable television, appearing on Showtime, A&E, and also the syndicated behemoth “Oprah!”  Later, his career took an unexpected turn as he spent more than a decade writing for daytime dramas, such as “Days Of Our Lives” and the cult hit “Passions.”  Ray continued to work on outside projects even while writing for daytime television, securing two prime time development deals (Fox /ABC Family).  Looking to get back into performing, Ray decided to pursue a new avenue: acting.  Ray threw himself into being a thespian with every ounce of his energy, studying within the intense programs at the Acting Corps.  Not just another pretty face, Ray was the valedictorian for his high school and college graduating classes.  Ray would like to thank Eugene Buica and Louis Carazo for this amazing opportunity, his brother Steven for HIS WHOLE FREAKING LIFE, his wife Gina, Abi, Nathan, Mischelle, Mama, Emily, Astrid, and Stella, and Adrian, David, Nathanael and Sydney.  Go Braves.

Antoine Dillard

Antoine Dillard

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Antoine loved to entertain friends and family. Unsure what to do with his ability to make people laugh, Antoine turned to the football field to exercise both his creative and athletic talent. He was awarded the title of football All American three times, while earning his B.S. degree in Liberal Arts and Physical Education from Mount Union College. Upon graduating college, Antoine went on to use his background in the physical field to become a personal trainer, which ultimately brought him out to Los Angeles. During a training session, a client suggested that Antoine take some acting classes. Taking the advice to heart, he soon enrolled at The Acting Corps where he began his training and continues to study.

Kiely Williams

Kiely Williams

Kiely Alexis Williams has been captivating audiences since the age of five, when she made her television debut in the television pilot, “Tribeca,” directed by Robert DeNiro. At only 23 years old, she has proven herself to be a versatile actress, singer, songwriter, dancer, aspiring director and budding author. Born in Alexandria, Va. and raised in New Jersey, Williams was able to cultivate her love for performance at an early age. She spent her childhood learning the art of singing and music production in her family’s home recording studio where she developed a love for electronic music and retro rock. She is best known for her role as “Aquanetta” the fashion icon in The Cheetah Girls’ three hit Disney Channel telefilms. In 2009 Kiely completed a final national arena tour with the Cheetah Girls and co-starred with Anna Farris in the Adam Sandler produced comedy feature “House Bunny” (Columbia/Sony).  She also completed a starring role in the independent film “Elle” and “Stomp The Yard 2: Homecoming” (Sony) and is slated to star in “The Science of Cool,” another independent feature that starts production later this year and will be released in 2011.
