Speed The Plow at the Americano Theater

Plot

Recently appointed head of production, movie exec Bobby Gould receives a visit from his longtime friend and associate Charlie Fox. Charlie pitches Bobby a populist action flick that's going to make both Fox and Gould rich, famous, and powerful. Gould's attractive new secretary Karen, however, has another idea - another movie - a socially conscious film about the end of the world which may not turn a profit and might just get everyone fired. Money and art, love and loyalty - Pulitzer prize winner David Mamet explores the nature of power in this fast and furious comedy. Speed the Plow delivers a dark vision of Hollywood on steroids!
